Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

The Traditional Chinese Medicine is a millennium old form of therapy and has spread throughout the world to this day. Even here in Germany, TCM has now taken an important place in the health care system.

The holistic view of TCM considers both the body, the mind and the soul – the human being is thus considered comprehensively as a whole. Every symptom signifies an imbalance of yin and yang and a disturbance of the life energy “Qi”, which flows in the meridians (energy channels) and supplies the entire body.

During an initial consultation, I enquire about your physical and/or emotional complaints and your lifestyle habits. Through your information and the physical examinations such as pulse and tongue diagnostics, facial diagnostics, etc., I identify the Qi qualities and Yin and Yang qualities in the organ and meridians. After this consultation, I explain to you in which areas your strengths and weaknesses lie from a Chinese point of view and show you possibilities for an individual therapy.

TCM includes acupuncture, moxibustion, the Chinese herbal therapy, the five elements diet, manual therapies in the form of massage applications, cupping, Feng Shui, as well as movement and relaxation techniques such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi and meditation.
